Dhruba Jyoti Bora
Dhruba is our Chief Compliance Officer, a Senior Banker with more than 2 decades of experience in Banking domain. He started his banking career as Probationary Officer in State Bank Group from 1999. Later, he joined Axis Bank in 2002, wherein, he undertook various roles in Operations for Retail branches, Regional & Corporate office and Subsidiary group companies.
He has a strong understanding of corporate credit operations, operational risk management, operations excellence, regulatory compliances etc. Prior to taking over as Chief Compliance Officer, Dhruba was a part of the founding leadership team of A. TREDS LTD (JV of Axis Bank & Mjunction Services Ltd.) for launching TReDS (Trades Receivables Discounting System) platform, the first ever granted by RBI in 2017.
He was instrumental in implementing the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) introduced as a part of the Indian Government's COVID-19 financial relief package in Axis Bank. Dhruba is a Bachelor of Science (Technology) from University of Calcutta and PGPMX from IIM, Indore.
