Prashant Joshi is one of our Directors and Group Executive & Chief Credit Officer Axis Bank since May 1, 2022. As Chief Credit Officer he is responsible for all underwriting functions across the Retail and Corporate segments.

Prashant has nearly three decades of experience in the financial services, primarily in project finance appraisal and credit functions. He has been with Axis Bank since September 2006 in roles related to Credit/Underwriting & Risk across various segments.

In the previous stint, he was with Industrial Development Bank of India in the project finance department nearly 13 years with in-depth experience of working with proposals across sectors. He started his career in a private firm as a Project Engineer.

Prashant is a Civil Engineer from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai University.
